Bhavya Doshi - EBCR President

Hometown: San Ramon, CA

Email: president@ebcrotaract.org

Hi, I’m Bhavya and I am the current president of East Bay Community Rotaract. I recently graduated with my BA in Child Development from Mills College (May 2019) and completed my MA in Early Childhood Education from Mills in May 2020. While at Mills, I founded Mills Rotaract which was an incredible opportunity to familiarize myself with the Oakland area as well as the Rotary based there. Because of my time with Mills Rotaract, I was able to take the time to develop my passion within the community service and I learned that my passion surrounds supporting families, but more specifically, children. My hobbies include working out, reading, and going on random, impulsive adventures. A fun fact about me is that I love the color purple and my favorite animal is a penguin (and I wish we had purple penguins). Through Rotaract, I hope to create an environment where we can develop our professional abilities, our passions within community service as well as create a space to socialize and grow.

Haripriya Gopal - EBCR Vice President

Hometown: San Ramon, CA

Email: vicepresident@ebcrotaract.org

Hi, I’m Haripriya  and I am the current vice president of East Bay Community Rotaract. I recently graduated from the University of San Francisco in December 2019. I majored in Business Administration and Entrepreneurship and Innovation. I will be starting with TCG as an Analyst in SF. I was a part of Interact in high school for a short time in high school and loved how we were able to give back to our community in fun and exciting ways. Also, being a part of the board gives me a chance to create connections while giving back through service and professional development. This is a great opportunity to grow from while creating a safe environment for all. My hobbies include Bharatnatyam (Indian Classical Dance), Bollywood dancing, Netflix, and hanging out with friends. A fun fact about me is I hate the smell of oranges but love eating them.

Prerna Gosar - EBCR Secretary

Hometown: Fremont, CA

Email: secretary@ebcrotaract.org

Hi, I’m Prerna and I am the current secretary of East Bay Community Rotaract. I recently graduated from the University of San Francisco in December 2019 and I currently work at a biotech company in the Bay Area. One of my main reasons I wanted to join the board of EBCR is because I find so much value in building professional and personal relationships, service learning, and giving back to the community. I had never been a part of it in high school or college, but want to build a platform in which others can take advantage and grow from the opportunities provided because I truly believe that the future is in our hands. My hobbies include Bollywood dancing and traveling. A fun fact about me is that I was born on Valentine’s Day.

Suhani Ravani - EBCR Publicist

Hometown: Dublin, CA

Email: publicity@ebcrotaract.org

Hi, I’m Suhani and I am the current publicist of East Bay Community Rotaract. I am currently a sophomore Human Development and Family Sciences major at the University of Texas at Austin. I pursued my passion of giving back to the community through various community service organizations throughout my time in high school. My position as a board member of EBCR gives me a stable platform to continue helping the community that I have been fortunate to call my home and provides me with the opportunity to build valuable personal and professional relationships. My hobbies include photography, painting, playing around with makeup, exploring new places, and eating good food. A fun fact about me is that I can speak two other languages, Gujarati and Hindi, fluently. I am very excited to learn from those I work with through EBRC and look forward to helping to create a comfortable space for others to grow and succeed.

I am delighted to be a part of the board because it allows me to continue developing my personal as well as professional relationships with individuals who share similar interests as me. My hobbies include working out, studying astrology, and cooking/baking. A fun fact about me is that I love jewelry and have a total of 13 piercings! I am looking forward to creating a platform for young adults to reach their full potential through various channels.
